Bare land behind a retail site in Sacramento’s North Natomas is being planned for 120 units of affordable housing.
Sacramento-based St. Anton Communities has proposed Ascent Workforce Apartments for 4.35 acres on the northwest corner of Del Paso and El Centro roads, according to a new application.
A representative of St. Anton didn’t return a call seeking comment Tuesday. According to the application, the land itself was planned to be part of the neighboring retail project, Westlake Shopping Center, but those plans didn’t move forward.
