With a project on Arden Way in Sacramento near completion, affordable housing developer Community HousingWorks is turning its attention to Rocklin.
The City Council there Tuesday approved an agreement with the San Diego-based nonprofit developer for a 110-unit project in the city’s downtown on land the city owns.
“As a nonprofit, we look at opportunity for people begins with an affordable home,” said Mary Jane Jagodzinski, a senior vice president with Community HousingWorks, in a presentation to the council. “It’s a beautiful site, I think, and I think it will be a wonderful home, and we really want to respect the heritage of Rocklin with this.”
