A senior living community in Arden-Arcade will retain an affordability status for decades into the future after a recent sale.
Seattle-based Security Properties bought the Albert Einstein Residence Center at 1935 Wright St. and got extensions on its “affordable” designation for 65 years, said Sean Burrowes, director of affordable housing for Security.
“It’s something we’re really excited about,” said Burrowes, whose company invests in multifamily properties, particularly affordable ones. “It’s a great property in a great location, and it preserves an important asset.”
