A Sacramento architecture firm known for working on affordable housing projects and smart-growth advocacy has seen a new name take its lead role.
Mogavero Architects announced Renner Johnston, who’s been with the firm since 1997, is now its president, succeeding founder David Mogavero.
“I spent a lot of time talking to people outside the firm and inside the firm,” Johnston said, after the succession plan for Mogavero formed about a year ago. “It feels good, but things are a little different when you’re in a leadership role.”
