With one project nearly ready for move-in, and three more across the region in various stages of planning, affordable housing developer Community HousingWorks is expanding its portfolio locally.
“We’re all in on the Sacramento region,” said Mary Jane Jagodzinski, Community HousingWorks’ new vice president of strategic initiatives and a Sacramento native.
Company CEO Sean Spear said Community HousingWorks is hoping to start moving residents next month into Salvator, a 120-unit project at 880 Arden Way. That project has to clear a few small construction and regulatory hurdles before move-in begins, he said.
