In October, Solving Sacramento merged its “Hangout Gigs” video series with the “Creativity in the Capital” podcast in front of a live audience at the Torch Club in Sacramento for our inaugural Hangout Gigs: Live music series.
LabRats is the host band of the Sunday Sessions each week at the Torch Club in Midtown, and they have quickly become a prominent name in the local music scene — and the band has only been together for about three years.
The LabRats consist of bandmates Thomas Molina (trumpet), Joey Archie (keys) Jacob Swedlow (drums) and bassist Miguel Recendez, who had to miss the event due to illness; bassist Tyler Miles filled in for the show.
The LabRats sat down with “Creativity in the Capital” podcast co-host Nick Brunner for the conversation, which is available on streaming platforms.
