Nearly two months after an overnight fire ravaged a long-awaited affordable housing project on Broadway in Sacramento, the developers have picked up work again.
Crews have restarted construction on the southern portion of On Broadway, while work on the more damaged north portion will resume next month, according to a spokesperson for the developer, EAH Housing Inc. of San Rafael.
“Once work has resumed on the North building, we will have a better estimate of the construction timeline and actual completion date,” spokesperson Mackenzie Martin said in an email.
