Sacramento spoken word artist Natachi performs her heartfelt original “GPS” for Hangout Gigs, a monthly series spotlighting Sacramento-based musicians.
Natachi is a Nigerian American spoken word poet based out of Sacramento whose introspective work focuses on community. She has performed internationally, including in Ghana and Copenhagen.
Natachi is joined by Diamond Key (bass synth and vocals), Nicole Gentry (keys and vocals), MmaMma Laura (vocals and hand percussion) and Q Lynn Smoove (drums) for a performance of “GPS,” a spoken word piece that ventures into boom bap territory at times.
